David A. Lavenburg represents banks, commercial property owners and management
companies, small to mid-sized businesses, funding companies and debt purchasers
in a variety of areas including commercial
litigation, lease disputes,
commercial collections, real estate foreclosure, bankruptcy litigation and
structured settlement and lottery assignments in the Massachusetts and
Connecticut Courts.
David is admitted to practice in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, the United
States District Court for the District of Massachusetts, the State of
Connecticut and the United States District Court for the District of Connecticut
and is a frequent lecturer at seminars concerning creditor's rights, bankruptcy
and collections. He is a member of the Hampden County, Massachusetts Bar
Association and the Connecticut Bar Association.
David received his undergraduate degree from Ohio Wesleyan University in 1987 where he was the President of his class and is a 1990 graduate of Capital Law School in Columbus, Ohio. While in law school, David distinguished himself as a member of the National Moot Court Team and graduated Order of the Barristers.
Upon graduation from law school, David joined the Springfield, Massachusetts law firm of Gold & Vanaria, P.C. where he became a partner in 1998.
David joined the firm in 2005 and lives in Longmeadow, Massachusetts with his
wife Theresa where he serves as Chairman of Longmeadow's Zoning Board of
Appeals.
