Edward J. McNamara has diverse experience in all areas of
commercial real estate transactions.
Ted�s practice is national in scope. He has extensive experience representing
financial and insurance institutions originating construction and permanent
loans secured by retail, multifamily, hotel and office properties located
throughout the United States. He regularly assists clients with loan servicing,
foreclosures and workouts. Ted has also assisted several major national
lenders in streamlining their processes and revising their standard form loan
documentation. In addition, Ted has successfully assisted many clients
acquiring, developing, leasing and selling many different types of commercial
real estate. Ted previously worked at Sonnenschein, Nath & Rosenthal
(1988-1991) and Hebb & Gitlin, P.C. (1992-1994).
Ted received a B.A., summa cum laude, in 1985 from Rutgers University and his
J.D. in 1988 from Columbia Law School. Ted is admitted to practice law in the
State of Connecticut.
Ted and his wife Anne live in Glastonbury with their three children.
