Steven J. Meis represents clients in the areas of commercial real estate, including leasing, acquisitions and development, finance, environmental law, and condominium law, as well as in general corporate and business law. His experience in commercial real estate includes loan transactions across the country. He has also served as in-house real estate counsel at a major banking institution, where he oversaw a workout loan portfolio.

Steve received his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina, graduating in 1983, and his J.D. from the University of Virginia Law School, graduating in 1986. He is admitted to practice in the State of Connecticut and the United States District Court.

Steve holds a black belt in karate and has been an instructor in martial arts. He lives in West Hartford, Connecticut, with his wife and son.
