C. Donald Neville practices in commercial
litigation in state
and federal courts, with an emphasis on creditor's rights, including contract
disputes, bankruptcy, commercial and consumer collections, landlord/tenant
disputes, foreclosures, mechanic's lien disputes, and tax appeals. He regularly
represents clients in Connecticut Superior Courts, District Courts and
Bankruptcy Courts. He is also admitted to the Second Circuit Court of Appeals.
Don received his undergraduate degree in political science from the University
of Hartford in 1993, and graduated with honors in 2001 from the University of
Connecticut School of Law. While in law school, he served as the Notes and
Comments Editor for the Connecticut Journal of International Law, was on the
Moot Court Board, and received an Award for Excellence for his academics. After
graduation, Don worked in the litigation department of Murtha Cullina LLP in
Hartford for five years. He joined the Firm in 2007.
Don is a member of Connecticut Bar Association, including an Executive Board
Member of the Young Lawyers Section and was appointed by the CBA President to be
a member of the Public Recognition Committee. Don was recognized by the CBA as
a Distinguished Volunteer in 2003 for his community activity and was on the CBA
Pro Bono Honor Roll in 2005 for his pro bono efforts. He is also a member of
the Olliver Ellsworth Inns of Court which is an organization designed to improve
the skills, professionalism and ethics of the bench and bar.
Don lives in West Hartford with his wife and two children.
