Richard R. Rendeiro represents clients on a local, regional, and national basis
in a variety of
commercial real
estate areas, including commercial finance, leasing, acquisition and
disposition and land use. He regularly represents major national commercial
real estate lenders on portfolio and other secured real estate loan transactions
throughout the United States. Rick has extensive experience in the supermarket
leasing area, having represented several major supermarket companies in
connection with the acquisition, disposition, development and leasing of
supermarket locations. Rick is a frequent lecturer at seminars produced by the
Connecticut and American bar associations, trade associations, and private
continuing education companies on topics related to commercial real estate law,
commercial finance, and legal ethics. For over ten years, Rick was an adjunct
professor at the University of Hartford, teaching a commercial real estate
course in the school's paralegal program.
Rick joined the firm in 2003, after 19 years at Cummings & Lockwood LLC. He
received his law degree from American University's Washington College of Law,
and a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from the University of
Wisconsin. Rick is admitted to practice in Connecticut and New York, and sits on
the Connecticut Bar Association�s Professional Ethics Committee.
Rick lives in Avon, Connecticut with his wife and three children, where he serves as a member of the board of directors for The Avon Land Trust.
