Adam Zweifler represents clients in
commercial real
estate transactions. He regularly represents insurance and
finance companies in connection with originating and servicing commercial
mortgage loans. Adam's practice is national in scope and
includes portfolio loans, capital markets loans and multi-state, multi-property
loans. The properties involved in such transactions have included retail
centers, office buildings, industrial and warehouse facilities and multi-family
properties.
Adam joined the Firm in 2007 and most recently (1994-2007)
worked in the real estate department at Pepe & Hazard, LLP in Hartford. Adam
started his career at Pillsbury Madison & Sutro in San Francisco, where he
practiced for five years.
Adam received a Bachelor of Arts from the State University
of New York at Binghamton and a Juris Doctorate from the Boalt Hall School of
Law at the University of California at Berkeley. He is a member of the
California Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the American Bar
Association, the Real Estate Finance Association and the Mortgage Bankers
Association.
Adam is a two time past president of the Hartford Chapter of the
Real Estate Finance Association and served on its Statewide Executive
Committee. In 2007 Adam received the Real Estate Finance Associations Statewide
Award of Excellence. Adam is admitted to practice in the State of California
and the State of Connecticut.
Adam lives in West Hartford, Connecticut.
